binghamton
carl and i drove to binghamton last weekend. god i cant believe its been almost a whole week already. time flies. we went to visit matt chris and tim. we stayed in matt and chris' dorm. it wasn't bad, but i forgot to bring a sleeping bag and the floor wasnt all that comfortable the second night we were there, but it was fine. driving up, carl and i got lost twice, once in syracuse, and once in binghamton. we ended up in the ghetto in syracuse and asked directions first from an indian guy at a gas station that we couldnt understand. we went across the street and asked a cop in a s.w.a.t. van for directions.
the first night there was pretty sweet. capriotto entered some movie trivia thing in hopes of winning a new table top for poker, but he quit after 2 rounds. i don't blame him..... there was way more to do that night, and most of the other people were movie geeks. one kid got every question in round 2 right, And a bonus question. after that, we went downtown and couldnt get into a party because they were running out of beer, and the guy at the door was a complete schmuck. "jacked jacki chan." the street smelled horribly like shit, but i suspect it was mass quantities of puke- disgusting either way. then, we walked around for a little while longer and got into a party at another frat house. there wasn't even supposed to be a party that night, but i guess they had 2 or 3 kegs they didnt know what to do with, so they had a party last minute. that party was so much fun. the party the following night honestly sucked, but i guess it was at least good to get out for the night.
the campus looked really nice, nd i dont know what the hell matt chris and tim are talkign about, the food was really good, minus the spaghetti.
oh yeh.... saturday, we went to the mall in binghamton too. we got lost on the way home, taking every direction you can imagine because matt had "good feelings" about it. i thought it was funny.... carl got pissed.
it was really good to see all of them again. carl's coming over sometime this weekend so i can teach him the basics of playing guitar. it'll be cool. i'll write more later tonight.
