tomorrow ill take and fail my road test at 1 pm in op. i can't name you a single person i know that passed their first time in orchard park, and i can name at least 10 off the top of my head that failed at least once.
anyways, whats been going on since i last updated? it's been a long time. for one, mike blew the speakers in the santa fe, so he decided to fix it by buying 2 12 inch subs and an amplifier, and is now debating whether to buy all new speakers or a flipdown dvd player. i made him a cd with some rap on it to make the bass shake the car pretty well. the thing pumps so hard it can make the cd player skip.
so i haven't really seen much of some of my friends because shaun and josh made the mistake of thinking i was on vacation in cleveland or something, and i guess they told a couple people ive been out of town for awhile. that explains alot.
i can't get a hold of zakks damn cell number. we really need to practice soon.
it's officially august tomorrow, and im not sure how much longer my friends will be staying before they have to leave for college.
warped tour was last week. it was pretty cool, a hell of alot better than last year. i got autographs from motion city soundtrack. we saw funeral for a friend, i got right up on the bar to see them. they were the best band there by far, no competition. after we saw them, we got autographs from them. i shook their hands, told them i came just so see them, and they signed a poster and the inside of their new cd for me. i got kind of sun burned, but not that bad, and well worth it to see ffaf like that. right in the beginning of thrice's set, they had to stop because of the heavy rain/thunder/lightning. everyone took cover under the tents for awhile. the rain was so heavy, the drops were huge. it felt like someone was spitting on you. instead of sticking around, we left after the rain. it took us a little over an hour just to get out of the parking lot. we went to denny's afterwards (me, tim, felong, and felong's cousin). as we were finishing up, brooks came in with a bunch of other people, most of which i didnt really know. the only two i can really remember other than brooks are his girlfriend, and this kid who lives up the street from me. so we talked for awhile, mostly about how tom was tackling kids in the mud pit after we left.
as for summer school, at the halfway point, my grade is a 95. basically, that means to pass, just to pass, i don't have to do shit anymore. but, since this summer school grade replaces my grade during the school year and can raise my gpa (yes, it can, assholes, ive called the school about it Twice), i think im still actually going to put effort into it as i have been. hopefully ill be able to drive there myself instead of bumming along with dean for the rest of the time, but as i said before, no one passes their road test in orchard park.
