A reminder that Democrats can suck too

I'm watching the South Carolina Senate debate. Lindsey Graham, the Republican incumbent, is one of the better Republican Senators (although he's sure no Arlen Specter), but I still would like him pulled out. Except that the Democrat, Bob Conley, is essentially a global warming denier, and is calling for coal liquefication to provide jet fuel. Holy crap. On many of his other positions, he seems to just be trying to out-conservative Graham.

Fortunately, it's a safe Republican seat.

Yes, the Democrat is so unimpressive that I just said that.
