BlackV-mon did as he was told. He flipped the ring as the doctor had shown him, thinking of the location given. In front of Alyssa the ring would open up and would exit in the lab. Finitevus currently laid on his operating table with his cloak used as a temporary bandage. BlackV-mon continued to hyperventilate and cry. If Alyssa couldn't save him, no one could.

[Alyssa and her partner entered the lab through the warp ring, with the HSAT still in her jet mode. The Digimon leaped off her back as the HSAT transforms into her humanoid form, and withdrew her medical kit from her D-Reader. She preps the bandages, antiseptic, and anesthetic.]

[The doctor slowly turned his head, the shock still in place, but he was becoming a bit more responsive.]

Alyssa...

[His voice was weak and his eyes somewhat glossed over. The wound on his chest had been wrapped tightly with his own cloak, but it had only slowed the bleeding.]

Doctor, please remain still. If you move too much you will make the bleeding worse.

[She gets out the anesthetic, and injects Finitevus with an appropriate amount for his body size. She then removes cloak.]

I'll need to go after the bullet, but it will not be pleasant.

[The doctor nods as Alyssa speaks. He grips the sides of the bed and nods again, signaling her to begin the bullet extraction.]

please be okay doctor...please. [BlackV-mon whispers as he watches.]

[Alyssa nods and sends a VERAM cable from her arm into the wound after the bullet. Despite being quicker and more efficient then going after it with bare hands or a regular tool, it is no less uncomfortable.]

[The doctor grunts, despite the anesthetic, and grabs the table as tightly as he can. The process was quite uncomfortable, but it was necessary.]

[The lead slug is pulled out, and cast aside as Alyssa immediately applies an antiseptic doused gauze to the wound. She quickly wraps the wound tightly with bandages.]

If this doesn't work, I'll have to cauterize the wound. Doctor you really should call for my assistance before things reach this level.

[Finitevus grunted as the bandaging was put on. He looked up at Alyssa with a scowling face.]

I would have...but I believed I could handle Mr. Sanders myself. I didn't know about Ritsu.

[The bleeding was beginning to stop now as well. It seemed the doctor was going to live.]

I have lost my weapon because of this. I will make them pay...somehow...

[The doctor's voice trailed off as his face melted into a face of realization.]

This...this could be a blessing in disguise.

I am sure they would think me mortally wounded, if not already dead. I can play on that. If they believe me dead, it will give me time to recover and plan my revenge, along with anything else I need to plan or work on. Yes. This is perfect. I will die in their eyes and when they least expect it, I shall raise again.
