Oh dipdipdip. My last entry is embarassing but whatever it was all true to how I felt that day...or that week, or on-and-off this whole year. I feel good right now, Exemption just went out to er...Marion Center, PA to play a few shows with VTS. We played in a big red barn that also happened to be a very nice trapezoid. Next to it was a baseball field and a playground and lots of woods. It was weird but fun. Neither show drew very well but the kids that came down were very appreciative and attentive to us and VTS. They were all very nice and respectful and stood and watched our whole set as if they came just to see us. Tom said this after and I feel the same way, even if there's five people at a show as long as they're giving something back to us even if it's just nodding their head it's still a good show. We got a better response there than we do at home sometimes. After the first show we went back to Andrew's friend Molly and Justin's place for some beers and some weeds. Got a little too drunk and lot too high and woke up with the worst headache I've had in recent memory. Luckily I had a cheeseburger for breakfast and felt a lot better. At one point I was on the phone with my mom and dropped it right into a storm drain while she was still on the other end. I though it was long gone but luckily Ray watches a lot of Discovery channel and is full of weird knowledge and managed to retrieve it using a stick and string tied to a USB cable as a lasso ...and he got it. Fucking nuts. The show that night was in a lot of ways the same as the one before. Solegion was there and made it more of a party so that was fun. We left that night and the ride was exhausting, felt very sick and still do.

Kelly was home for her spring break last week and that was really fun. We hung out everyday except for the two that I was in PA. We went to a nice park, layed around, ate food, kissed, hugged, and smoked and that's about it but it was wonderful to be with her for almost a whole week. Still very much loving her.

This weekend Exemption has a show in Brooklyn and on Sunday we're playing Sullivan Hall for some battle of the bands. I don't really give a shit about the battle part but I do have to sell tickets and am stressing about that a little. I forgot how nervewracking that is, now I remember why we don't do it anymore ha! Anybody reading who wants to go should let me know, it's all ages, idk what time we go on yet but it will most likely be before ten. Anyway, here's a dumb poem I wrote about cats:

In my travels I have seen
Many o' feral felines
But none so free and fine
As those that stroll inside my mind

Fat and tall and drunk and they are
Sipping wine I leave in jars
Mewing proudly in their march
From pond to pond, through trees that arch

But the dogs, this year are starving
And their lust for blood becomes alarming
As winter looms and snow starts falling
They forget about peace and come-a-calling

The cats, though drunk, have not forgotten
What snow can do to hungry dogs
And in their hymns they sing a warning
Preparing themselves for what's to come

The dogs have strength and nails and teeth
But the cats have friends that hardly sleep
And in the end there's just blood and fur
And one fat cat who's left to purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

...Ha!
