Day 8: One band/singer whose popularity you will never understand
If I have to list every band/singer whose popularity I never understand I will have to put about 70% of all current popular bands/singers for their dumbed-down, unclassy, boring and tacky musics, or even worse, their lack of interest/ability in music PERIOD except as a mean to become famous...
well if I have to pick one NOW,
GOD THEY ANNOY ME SO MUCH WITH THEIR STUPID TERRIBLE SONGS WHICH MAKES PEOPLE THINK THAT THEY ARE AMAZING BECAUSE THE SONGS ARE VAGUELY CATCHY AND DRONES ON FOREVER AND EVER WITH NO MEANING AT ALL AND THEY ARE SOOOOO OVEREXPOSED IN KOREA AND I SWEAR LIKE 150% OF PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE THE BEST SINCE SLICED BREAD AND IT MAKES ME HEADDESK
....I don't think I can't appreciate fakey, overly-processed gimmicks because I love Perfume. /hides from projectiles
Maybe I just don't like current (from after mid-2000s) K-Pop at all. Yeah, that must be it....what happened to people who actually made nice music and not EVERYTHING ABOUT ~OMG I AM SUCH A RICH PREVILEGED BITCHY BITCH AND I FEEL FABULOUS BECAUSE OMG I AM ACTUALLY REALLY INSECURE~
