you're back yay. :D

i'm going to number my reply also, cos i'm a copy cat. :)

1. Flaming cheese sounds like heaven... hot, fatty heaven, but even so. And a very merry belated birthday to your Dad.

2. All (decent) wine is love. I drink way too much of it. I have cut down though. It's not like I even know what I'm drinking, they all taste pretty much the same to me. Yummy. ;)

3. I would love to see that photograph of your Grams. My grandparents' (the nice ones) wedding portrait is still on the wall of our dining room and I love it. It was originally black and white but they got it hand-coloured. Must take a photo of it sometime actually.

4. Arcade Fire and Rogue Wave are way out of my league I'd say. Haven't even heard of them. You're too cool for school. ;) I will do some research though.

5. So Intensely Jealous of you right now. You've seem Maroon 5 live? In 2003? In a small intimate venue? And they played 'Closer'?! Man, I'm green. Actually green. That album is just sex. Only really listened to it in the past few months but it's such a grower. The first few times I heard it I though all the songs sounded the same but now I know better.

6. Is there anything cuter than cats' toes? I want to be a cat when i grow up.

7. You're beautiful. I love the earrings. I'd wear them and i'm very picky. :)

8. Love. *mwah*

Hehe, yay numbers! :D

1. Saganaki is so so so delicious. And tons of fun to watch them prepare. They bring the hotplates out with the cheese, pour brandy over the cheese, light it on fire and then extinguish it by squeezing lemon juice over it. I was just looking up on the internet to make sure I had it right about the brandy, and apparently, they actually really only do this in America, and it was started here in Chicago at the Parthenon! Haha, awesome. :D

Also, I will pass on the birthday message to my dad, hehe. :)

2. Mmm, yes, I agree. Emphasis on the 'decent', though, haha. Last week, several of the family members went out for dinner the one night there in Greencastle, and I ordered a glass of merlot to go with my steak. The steak was heaven, but the merlot...not so much. Could have just been the brand, but I don't know. It was just way too heavy. If it had been a bit lighter, I would've loved it, taste-wise.

3. :) I'm definitely going to scan it, and maybe one or two others.

4. Mmm. Arcade Fire is from Montreal. Rogue Wave is from Oakland, California. And yesyesyes, definitely check them out. :D

5. Guh, I did. I'm pretty sure it was 2003, or late 2002. Either way, it was before they really started to get more attention, because their album didn't really hit the mainstream until nearly a year after it was released. And man, am I glad I got the chance to see them before that. But oh, the concert was so good. One of the best I've ever been to. You're right - the album is definitely a grower; at first, I really only liked a couple songs on it, but since then, I've come to love practically every single song. I know what you mean about how at first, the songs seem to all sound too much alike, too. But like you said, now I know better.

6. Hehehe, cats' toes are adorable. Chester and Nutmeg are both quite unique, at least in my experience with cats, because they'll both let me play with their feet, touch the pads and even put my finger in the space between the smaller pads and the big one. Nutmeg actually seems to really like it. LOL

7. Gaww, thank you, honey. :) I love the earrings, too. I can be pretty picky, myself, but this store has a wonderful selection of gorgeous drop-style earrings.

8. Lovelovelove right back. *mwah*
