1. I say "y'all." Like country girls say it. And I grew up in Chicago.
2. I'm very particular about the rings I wear. Throughout the day, I'll check them to make sure they're not turned upside down or off-center, and I compulsively fix them whenever they are.
3. I wear my watch on my right wrist. Like Taylor, but shaddup, because I've worn it on that wrist my entire life. :-P ;)
4. One of my favorite words is 'idiosyncratic.'
5. I started playing the piano when I was all of about 3 years old, had lessons from age 6 until age 16, but to this day, I couldn't sight read sheet music if my life depended on it. I generally have to actually lean in and count the lines and spaces to figure out what the notes are, if I actually use sheet music for something I want to play.
6. I still have my blankie. As in, it's sitting on my bed, as I type this, tucked underneath my stuffed Piglet. It's falling apart (understatement of the century), but I can't bring myself to get rid of it.
7. I love chocolate ice cream, but I don't generally care for any store-bought versions of it. I prefer, more than anything, to scoop myself a big bowl of plain vanilla, drown it in Hershey's chocolate syrup and then mix it up to make my own chocolate ice cream. I've been doing this since I was little, and my parents always call it 'chocolate soup' whenever I make it, because by the time I get the syrup all mixed in, the ice cream is all soupy, haha.
8. I totally have a thing for guys who wear glasses. Given that the glasses suit them well, I find such a thing incredibly sexy. And Taylor's SuperNerd Specs (as I believe Lily once called them, hehe) are absolutely in the sexy category. :-D (Though I'd find it even sexier if he got some really sleek, slim/wire-framed glasses.)
9. I didn't drink anything carbonated until I was 19, because the carbonation freaked me out with how it felt whenever I swallowed a drink that was carbonated. For whatever reasons, it doesn't bother me now, but I still don't drink carbonated stuffs nearly as much as the average person does.
10. I love to eat fresh tomato, by itself, but I tend to pick it out of food that it's been cooked with. Figure that one out, LOL.
11. I hate starting conversation. A lot of it is just due to still remaining insecurities and anxiety, but yes, I hate starting conversation. Especially with people I don't know well, because situations like that, in particular, have the tendency to turn my mind into a vortex of paranoia that I'm going to say something completely stupid and uninteresting.
