I've changed my journal to Friends Only, not out of any particular reason- though there have been many that I could draw out of thin air. Lately, it is more of a general "I would like to be a little more discrete in who I allow to read my posts". While this is not an attempt at online snobbery by any means, it is more or less me trying to maintain a sense of discretion as it were (which is of course, the better part of valor). I have made some interesting friends and acquaintances and then the opposite. I wish the cultivate a positive virtual atmosphere with the former as opposed to dealing more with the latter.

It is not merely because I wish to live in a bubble, it is because I wish to have a more positive and constructive discourse with a diverse group of individuals without anyone coming to virtual blows on any given topic. I enjoy a good discussion, even a heated one, but during the course of such I would prefer that all remain cordial and lady-like or gentlemanly as possible. I write mainly for myself- this is my journal after all.
