Spring is coming!
So today is Groundhog Day. The day I look forward to the most all winter. The local prognosticators (Puxatawney Phil and Staten Island Chuck) disagree about how much longer it will be before Spring arrives. Phil saw his shadow, and therefore says Spring will be here in about 6 weeks; Chuck didn't and therefore we won't have to wait nearly as long. Who cares how long it takes? SPRING IS COMING!!! And while we may be suffering through some more snow and temperatures in the teens and 20's, there is a warm light at the end of this very cold tunnel.
In other news, folks who live here are among the happiest in NYC, me included!
I know I've been a bit of a Lurkasaurus Rex lately. It's not exactly been a fun time and writing about it is not what I want to be doing. I'm waiting for things to pass, but it seems to be going more slowly than hoped for. I am trying to stay positive and I know that this will pass... eventually.
