Spanxgiving went really well. People showed despite the weather and I was relieved because of it. No amount of wind, rain, snow, sleet, or ice can stop us from celebrating the season of Spanx.
As always Amanda beasted the kitchen and presented us with a spectacular spread. And it all went down nice and easy I'll have you know. So maybe the nausea is gone for now. Because I had some more key lime pie this morning for breakfast. And in case you were wondering it is made with real key limes.
I think next she's going to make stuffing and eggs. I just ADORE stuffing and eggs.
Oh and Amy said it was the best stuffing she had ever tasted in her life. Apparently the girl never had homemade before. Her and Stacy brought us chocolate pie. Bringing the grand total to 8 pies.
I was happy Joe came. He was at the very first one and hasn't been to one since. And he said he wasn't going to come because he didn't get an official invitation and I told him "Unless for some reason I hate you, you are always invited to Spanxgiving."
Dan seemed to really socialize and that was cool. I'm glad he's start to feel comfrotable around us. Makes me happy.
Ryanne looked super cute as always and seemed to have a swell time as well. Of course she kept a safe distance from me most the night. She's not big on contagious.
Jeff was happy to have real turkey and stuffing and real friends. We are always happy to oblige here on 8 North Sherman.
Lauren got DRUNK! I love jumping around and singing with her.
Mary and Steve perved it up for us. I love those guys.
Mike came out and so did Kristin. And how classy is it that they brought a bottle of wine?
