Update on the laundry scenerio- and sorry for not putting that long delerious 3 am ramble under an f-cut before. ;)
i wore the ruined shirt yesterday under a hoodie in the hope that somehow it would stretch out (?) and guess what!! IT DID!! :D :D :D I'm so happy!!! It took a few hours of me tugging miserably at it, but shockingly, it's wearable again! :D No more pancake boobage!
and the dress: i wet it under cold water and then hung it up to dry in the laundry room for the day. i just slid it on and courageously buttoned it up, and---- IT FITS!! the fibres have loosened again! This means that my poor roommate doesn't have to feel badly for chucking in my laundry yesterday, which rules. :)
haha, AND we now have adjusted laundry days so that there is no way this will happen again. gah. :P i'm so glad that situation sorted itself out.
i'm about to totally clear out my bedroom, and maybe buy a cheap new dresser and a lamp? if i'm going to be doing design work on the side, i need a good space to do this in and right now it feels a bit cluttered.
victoria was fun to browse in, the ferries were pretty cool- the rainforest landscape is so beautiful to see as you glide by- sunsets on the water, but no whales or seals were spotted this trip. plus there were massage chairs on the ferry coming home- haha, wow best invention EVER! my friend and i didn't really buy anything, but we looked a lot and had a great time trying things on and just poking around.
next trip- maybe seattle? :D
