me, right now:

O____________O

I'm going to pretend like I have been trapped on an island for ten years and it's been great because I survived by myself on a motherfucking Haha/Jihyo (Hayo? certainly not Haji...) island for ten years, and now I've been rescued and am back to civilization and, processed foods! bakeries! what is this. Like chocolate for the first time in ten years. Hang on, gimme a sec.

blur the line between like, oh god they're so cute, and shit shit shit I SHIP, so HARD the thing is, Jeny, that's exactly how I feel about them right now thanks to that heart rate episode (and at first I was embarrassed to admit it because before I'd been like "I just don't see it" fkdjs). "at that crazy point" hahaha I think that's gotta happen to make you want to write them. I'm reminded of what you said about fic obligations when all you want to do is write RM, and I think you have to be a little crazy to get there where everything is a fic and every movie an AU haha. Jaesuk ships them?! Show me ( ... )

This is such news to me -- DIANA! Tell me sooner next time! :D I ended up watching their segment in the heart rate episode again because I wanted to relive all those weirdish moments characteristic of a self-conscious awareness of something in battle with, like, fully knowing everything you say and do is being recorded on camera. I think another appeal is -- like Cath said, we probably don't see everything there is to see on camera, but as opposed to most idol groups, who debut with exaggerated anecdotes of trainee days, etc. -- you can literally see the progression from the first episode, when it was more awkward, only a few players saying stuff for atmosphere, to how their personalities have developed in line with each other. Even the "roles" they have now, like everyone dumping on Gwangsu, you know it's in good fun because you can also see the cracks -- like when they're dying from laughter or trying to slap each other off the aquarium balance beam or whatever. They've really become a coordinated ensemble ( ... )
