Diana, how are you so amazing? This is one of the best fanfics I've ever read; the parallels and the messed-up-ness and the emotions (or lack of it in your writing) and the language...I don't know where to start telling you how much I loved this. It's not what I was expecting but it blew any expectations I might have had out of the water and I feel sort of drained now.
I'll be back with a better comment when I get back home. Just know for now that I am stunned and wide-eyed in admiration and gratitude ♥

lkfjal i was so nervous about how you'd react ;___; so so glad you liked it. it was draining to write tbh, and i'd planned on making it more hyukhae but the other members wheedled themselves in and then it started to feel like an allegory and yeah, i don't know. i'm just glad it made sense to you ♥

Your style of writing for this was just gorgeous; it was unpretentious and almost unemotional, and yet it brought across the emotions so strongly. You have such a beautiful way of expressing and describing things, I could see everything happen in my mind and some of my favourite lines were
It was odd, like being old and new at the same time.
The leaves overhead latticed shadows over his eyes, his open mouth.
Even in the dark he could feel Donghae's face hairbreadths away from his. He wasn't even breathing. Extrasensory perception.
And then kissed him again, lips soft, slow, like they had all the time in the world.
So heartachingly pretty, sigh. The little details about Jieun's dress and the pieces of Hyuk's memories all came together so poignantly and clearly. There's just...the perfect mix of details and general narration and it was so perfect, idek, I wish I could write like you ;__; Even the sex scene was perfect...I'm almost glad that ( ... )

The way you wrote this was so...so detached, and clinical but also so perfect for the purpose of this story. Also, the parallels that you made were sort of amazing and heartbreaking in all the right ways. The concept was so interesting, and dark, and the lines between reality and what has been constructed is just, laskdmaksdf (yes this is my general description of awesomeness). ergh, okay, all the sungmin bits are my favourite. because yes, he's more human than the rest of them will ever be because he's moderated, skilled at everything but not perfect because that is heechul and argh. heechul's speech is my favourite because it's perfect and true, and i'm so glad you didn't use speech marks because that would've ruined the flow and how it is is just perfect and undeniably wonderful.

i really like the simplicity of this bit, just the simple listing that kind of represents the whole Centre in a few lines.
Some of them had more difficulty being placed than others. Sungmin was one of them.
"I'm not good at anything," Sungmin said.
"Sometimes you need people like that. I'm one of them," Leeteuk reassured him.
It wasn't exactly true.

faj;l i'm glad you liked those lines even if it pains me to read them again. 1. hyukhae. 2. hanchul. 3.anything not involving sungmin. HAHA ;__; i'm beginning to prove i can't write hyukhae ever since it's never just them, other people always butt in, and this time it was the entire band T__T it's the opposite for hanchul, they exist in their own world... :( and lol for #3 I AGREE T___T
i'm not going to answer the last question because it's more about what you think than what i think :D but if you really want to know (and for the mystery to be gone!!) i'll tell you on msn :D hint: it's obvious lol
