People at Indian resturants always trick you into buying expensive bread because you CAN'T understand what they're saying.
It's like, "yes we'd like bread. the free kind that you supply with meals." But they are like, "you want bread? the garlibarleymajah?"
And you're like, "i'm sorry?"
And they're like, "bread. the garlibarleymajahseeehkapin...you want bread."
And then you're like, "Yeah, yes...bread. that's fine."
And then it ends up costing you $3.50.

this has happpened to me TWICE now. granted, the bread was good but the principle of using a language barrier to swindle profits is annoying as fuck. but i suppose clever nonetheless.
