This is actually kind of weird. I thought that when I got out of the academy it would be kind of freeing. I thought man I am gonna enjoy not having someone on my ass, waiting for me to mess up. And I get out and I'm like huh, I really don't know what to do with myself (other than look for a job of course.) I was tempted to keep the haircut (that I hate) because it is familiar. Don't get me wrong, I'm not gonna miss the awkward looking uniform. But at the same time at four o'clock today something clicked in me and I felt this intense need to run. Which was good, because I haven't run in few days but it just happened to click at the same time that pt was scheduled to start. I still "sir and m'am" everyone in sight and I can't quite get myself to write normally yet. I know its only been a few days but still it feels weird.
After graduation Julie and I were talking about when she graduated from UP. She said that she didn't want to leave because she loved college so much. I didn't realize it (immediatley) but I was thinking the same thing about the academy. Did I like the inspections, the tests and the resulting stress? Hell NO! But the people that I met are, I think, some of the best, most decent people I have had the privilege to geting to know. And (this is for you Julie) yes, I already miss seeing my friend Rocky. What?! I dont make friends easily! That being said, PLEASE DEAR LORD WILL SOMEONE FREAKING HIRE ME!!!!! hehe.
Everything else is going pretty well here, Julie should know if she is going to be hired in Oregon. I hope she gets it, She loved working at Valley Catholic. So all things considered things are goin ok on my end. Anyways, I am tired of typing so g'night y'all.
