So bright and fresh
I'm youth incarnate
As the sun beats down
Showering me with small bits of kindness

But as the days go by
The sun shines less and less
And every evening

By the damp of the night

Still I wait
Everyday
Yearning for that sunshine
That once washed over me

That soon
