Out with the Bang
Holy crap I had a good weekend. Went out with Amykins on Fri night and we wandered around downtown looking at places for me to live, had dinner at a pizza place and generally had a good night. Got my new Blackberry and so Sat I played around with that all day and found out how to make my very own ringtones, so in honor of Blackberry and black and because I needed a cool tone, I recorded a clip from one of my favorite W.A.S.P. songs "Wild Child" who Blackie Lawless sings as my tone.
Last night was freaking insane though. Went to the Pourhouse tavern on Market St in LoDo and met up with 5 friends. We proceeded to drink and drink and had a blast. Next thing I remember was waking up on a bench at the end of 16th street mall. No clue how I got there, remember taking a cab home and then woke up this morning on the couch. Apparently I called Sue in Florida and we yapped for a bit on my up coming trip in a little over a week.
Zahe my friend called me this morning to fill me in on what happend last night. I was just like out of that movie "The Hangover" though not nearly as exciting. I found my credit card and checked online today and apparently I paid off my bar tab. He said we all left to go to Sing Sing piano lounge and the bouncer wouldn't let me in. So they were going to find another place we could all go to. I guess I told them to go in and I would be fine so they did, met some girls and had a blast and didn't get home till 6am. I must have wandered on 16th street mall and ended up passing out on a bench for a short time because when I got home, it was only freaking 12:30am at night. Wow haven't had one of those nights in awhile.
Good thing is I have new friends to hit the LoDo bars with now, which is what I've been wanting to do forever and haven't had anyone to do it with since I lived in the Springs. Now this group of us can do that regularly on the weekends since we've all been wanting to do it and never knew others that did too. I made the suggestion and boom everyone was saying how they've been wanting to do that and never knew anyone else that did. So be looking for me in LoDo on my Sat nights now yay.
I'm starting to adjust to this new life and when I move downtown it'll be so much better. Out with the old, in with the new and move forward is my outlook and I plan on embracing this not as a bad thing or a lonely thing, but as a positive thing in life.
Hell Anna and I have already talked about our snorkling trip we're going to take in either the Pacific islands or Caribbean sometime in the near future. Heatherhead and I are planning next summers Ireland trip already and so forth. It'll be good to have that sort of freedom now. Yay me.
