How they deal with animal cruelty in America.
Here there'd be a bit of paper work to fill out & then they'd "investigate". There, they set up check points & bring in the tracking dogs.
What could such a fine looking young man possibly have done to earn himself a spot on the Dreamin’ Demon? He punched, killed, and possibly dismembered his girlfriend’s cat. Surprised?
Upset with his girlfriend’s 2-year-old Siamese cat, Selk reportedly grabbed the cat by the neck, and punched the animal, repeatedly. Selk’s roommates could hear him saying ‘he was gonna shut that cat up.’ Well, he did…permanent like.
Selk left the apartment with the cat in his backpack and returned without it. When his girlfriend returned to the home after work, she was dismayed to find blood in her bedroom and two bloody knives, but no kitty. She confronted Selk and he admitted that he killed her cat, Jezebel, and dropped her in a grease dumpster behind Outback Steakhouse. He left the apartment again and the girlfriend called the cops.
A perimeter was set up and a K-9 unit was called to the scene to track Selk. He was spotted walking away from the rear of an Outback Steakhouse. He was confronted by officers and arrested for animal cruelty. Officers searched the dumpster but were unable to locate the dead cat. Selk refused to tell officers where the cat was…but he did hint at the fact that he had dismembered the feline.
Matthew James Selk, 22, now sits in Pinellas County Jail with a $10,000 bond and charges of felony animal cruelty.
