ok.. I"m using that too..(ancestry.com) I have relatives in England (and nearly everywhere it seems) but i haven't matched them up yet.

I'm still feeling my way around over there. actually.

Oh! *waves* Iz a genealogist in my sooper sekret RL.

I don't know anything of the area (my mother's family is from Staffordshire about 1830's) but I found all sorts of wonderful information through microfilmed records held by the LDS. If you have an LDS history center nearby it's absolutely worth the visit. Quite a few of them specialize in records from the British Isles.

You're welcome. I love helping others with (and getting them hooked on) genealogy.

If you haven't already been there, check out www.familysearch.org. It's LDS site that lets you search several of their databases *and* you can check out their library catalog.
