July 21-23
so i spent 3 days camping with the little ones. man, grade school girls are pretty interesting, once you get past the whole 'oh my gawd, dat guy iz like sooo fine' deal. i got a lot accomplished: shot 2 rolls of film (one color and one black and white), made a bad-ass dairy-free pizza on pita bread, finished Picasso's War, drew some fun pictures, explained like 42 time how my camera works, sang songs around a campfire (just as tone deaf as i remembered), hiked through a creek, went swimming, and ate a lot of free pretzels. all in all i had quite a relaxing weekend in the middle of the week.
until recently i've been sleeping all day, i don't like it. but i woke up at 9 today and took edward to the mechanic on cass avenue, he should be repaired and in working order shortly, woohoo!
exactly 31 days until i plan to leave for new york.
