Why I Love Harden 1!
Its always nice to call 'No Effect' There's just something satisfying about being able to ignore your opponents super powers. Unfortunately its usually the monsters that get to do this.
Not Yesterday.
I've been carefully saving up character points for weeks now only spending half my experience each time to buy Harden 1 and yesterday it payed off.
12 dex 1 + Harden 1 = 'No Effect Bitches'
I love the call of 'dodge bounce' in the morning.
The first half of the LARP I was functionally immortal (apart from those pesky Curse 3s, damn boggarts) and for the second half of the LARP I managed to stay on my feet only getting dropped twice the second time due too extremely well pulled blows (thanks hotpork) to the head where I have no armour.
Quite apart from my stat shinanigans the whole LARP was very enjoyable will a clear plot, a competent monster team and a very silly final fight up and down the hill as the spirit of winter 'bounced' back and forth over the parties heads with a bladesinger hanging from his feet whilst carrying a small child and being pursued by a teleporting elf.
After the days exertions I was too tired to go to the pub so I returned home to order pizza and have an early night. On my way I was accosted by two londoners who wanted to know how to get involved in LARPing and get photoed waving my mace and shield.
Now rent negotiations call me from my keyboard and them maybe I can get some time in on my Eng. Mat. assignment before seeing if my SLA group can recover the key of delhyread this evening.
