I realized that I totally forgot to extend a formal greeting to all of the Band of Brothers fans that just added me/I added. Which is entirely typical of me, I'm really bad at being friendly like a normal human being. SO HELLO TO
legethien,
exsequar,
binnin,
royale90skid ,
benvolio_daemon ,
hjbender ,
poutmeter ,
konimi and whoever else I entirely forgot because I fail. D;
(
Cut for BoB talk. )
BUT OH MAN:
[Webgott]
-- A love like the Sea though, it's probably been rec'd/you've read it already because it is AMAZING
-- College boy Cowardice--which is one of the best fics I ever read and turned me on to NixWinters, the links to the previous chapters are at the bottom.
-- Fallschirmjäger and If you give Web a smoke: I love their interactions in these and just kind of wish people would write more that doesn't involve verbal abuse but hey, that's Webgott apparently...
-- Strange Allies, Warring hearts: I like the style and I love the characterizations except...for well, the only thing that gets me is Joe is...a helluva a lot meaner than I can ever really picture him. It's a terrific read though...unfortunately not finished :<<
-- Routine: Web as an officer AU. Unf. That man had so much potential--also we see the bromance of Nix/Web through their rivalry of Yale vs. Harvard and it just adds to it all.
-- The Whispers: Sweet, cute, and just d'aww...also NSFW slightly.
[Babe/Roe]
-- Every Spark: Still by far, my favorite Babe/Roe. I love love love it so much.
--Complete. I like the fact that all the other characters are just kind of running around and Babe is so very adorable. Also the Webster/Liebgott spat made me go d'aww...inappropriately.
-- MOB AU: It's more gen than anything but, oh Babe and your eternal chasing of Roe-tail.
...Uh yeah, I had more but my mind went totally blank for a second and now all I was going to say is gone. ...ahaha I kind of go crazy when it comes to rec'ing things...and I'd link that Speirs/Roe fics but there's like really only three so you've probably read them already D:
Reply
I will definitely read all the ones I haven't read.
