Sooooo. Hi there, everyone! My name's Amanda, I'm from Brazil and hmm... I guess I was 8 years old when I first watched The Power of One... Man that's a long time ago. xD It's actually been a while since the last time too, I really need to rewatch that. But I still remember perfectly the voice they gave Jirarudan in the Brazilian dub... I just don't remember which name they called him. xDDD
But anyway, I found out about this community yesterday, sent here by blackjackrocket who seems to have recruited yet another member since. It was very late when I joined and I was nearly falling asleep on my keyboard so I didn't post an introduction until now. ^^"
But really, I must admit I'm quite ashamed... I have no art to show you guys (since I've only started drawing Pokemon fanart recently) and uh... I don't even have a Jirarudan icon or anything. I fail. xDDD Let's hope I can change that soon. ^^"
Well I don't really have much to say right now, I'm not very good at introductions... This is basically just to say hi. So... Hi! =D

So I realized there was a post with a Portuguese text about the movie that needed translation. With Portuguese as my mother language, I felt that it was my duty to provide one.

Official Synopsis
While Ash, Misty and Tracey travel in a boat, Giraldan, a Pokemon collector (seriously, please forget they said bichinhos), prepares his newest plan: capturing the rare Lugia. To do so, he provokes a climatic catastrophe when attacks and removes from their islands the three holy birds: Moltres, the fire guardian bird; Zapdos, the thunder guardian bird; and Articuno, the ice guardian bird. To avoid the complete collapse of the world they live in, the Pokemon and their trainers decide to get together to fight Giraldan.

In this movie Ash, Misty and Tracey are sailing in a boat when a terrible storm starts and they end up in an island from the Orange Islands, where many say Ash is the trainer chosen to save the world from the fury of the Sea Guardian Pokemon. The planed collapsed since Lawrence 3 is trying to capture (by the way, they made a typo there xD) the legendary birds to finally free the guardian of waters, the oh so powerful (yes they called him that) Lugia, and capture him.
The only problem is that Lawrence 3 has already captured Moltres and that made the planet's balance collapse (damn they love that world). At the party where Ash is nominated "the chosen one", an old man says he should save the world before the God of Waters releases his fury.
Ash soon accepts the mission and goes in search of the 3 spheres that are found in the islands of each legendary bird. First, Ash goes to the island where Moltres stays, but there he finds Zapdos, who says he now owned that island, since Moltres was gone. In that, Team Rocket shows up in the island as well, and suddenly Lawrence 3's flying ship presents itself to capture Zapdos. The mission is concluded successfully, and in the luggage, takes Ash and co. too. Arriving at the ship, Ash and his friends (and enemies) are locked in a cage, and they see Zapdos and Moltres locked in cages too, but these separated, and soon the ship informs to Lawrence 3 of the presence of our heroes in the ship. This (they mean uh... Lawrence 3) goes to see who they are and ends up setting free Ash and co., and after Lawrence goes away, Ash sends his Pokemon to save Moltres that soon does it (no it doesn't make sense in portuguese either) and then Moltres sends Fire Explosion (I seriously doubt they gave us the right attack name in portuguese so you get a direct translation) and (there is nothing in this world that can be used to translate this without it sounding seriously lame) beats up Zapdos's cage. After both birds are free they start to attack the ship and in this the ship falls. (God that is some awful text)
Will Ash and his friends escape the ship? If they do will they survive?
... This gave me some reasons to laugh. Oh well. Bad, bad people with websites but no talent for text writing. xD
