Sunday was awesome. Donna, Leah, and I headed down to the Autorama at Cobo this morning to meet Lita from the WWE (a wrestler for those of you who don't know). We got down there early, around 11am and she wasn't scheduled to start signing until 1pm. There were some.... interesting... people there. Particularly this boy and girl (probably 16 or 17) who thought that since they were waiting in line to meet a wrestler, they should take it upon themselves to start their own amateur impromt-to wrestling match. It was ridiculous. I was waiting for one of them to smash their faces into the concrete floor, but unfortuantely it didn't happen. They must've carried on for the full 2 hours until Lita arrived.
Lita was one of the sweetest people (celebrity wise) that I've met. She took the time to get everyone's names and chat with everyone who crossed the stage to get autographs. It was awesome. I took my Lita book with me and ended up buying 2 8x10's for her to sign also. When I got up there she shook my hand and asked my name, then she signed the first 8x10. The thing I thought was really great was she actually asked me how to spell my name, I can't tell you how many baseball cards and such I have that are written out "To Candice" (I spell it CandAce for those of you I may have lost). I asked her to make the other 8x10 out to Rodney since he couldn't go and she was more then happy to (he loved the picture by the way). I got my picture taken with her and the whole experience was awesome. I have to admit though, she's a lot smaller then I thought she would be. I just hope she can get back in the ring soon (she's out 6-8 months with a torn ACL), and Yes, I know wrestling is fake. :)
Donna got her book signed and had Lita sign an 8x10 for Ross (she already gave it to him so feel free to ask him about it). Leah had a good time too, but I'll let her tell you guys her experience.
Afterwards, Donna and I got some food and then went to see Cursed...I feel cursed for wanting to see such a horrible movie, it sucked! But all in all it was an awesome day.
