Damn...
Damn it's been a loooooooonnnggggg time since i last update this thing. Well lets see...I'm still unemployed, which is no fun. I've applied at a few places, sent out resumes, the whole nine and have heard nothing. Whatever i'll enjoy my time off then, even if money is a bit tight.
This is exciting:
We are having a premiere for one of the movies Keith and I did, titled "The Remake," next thursday, March 30th at the Emagine Theater in Canton. There is a 7pm showing and a 9pm showing. The 9 o'clock screening though will be a double feature with Mr. Jingles. Tickets are $10 at the door or you can buy presale tickets through me til Monday, the 27th.
The movie is about a fan who finds out that Hollywood is going to remake his favorite horror movie, Slaughtercamp 13 (basically Friday the 13th). He's fed up with all the shitty remakes that are being made of horror classics so he finds out the shooting location and decides to kill the cast and crew so they cannot desecrate his favorite film.
I've seen some of the rough footage during editing and it's not bad considering we shot this in 4 days up north in October. I'm excited to see it. Most of the former MP peeps are going to the 9pm screening so let me know if you're interested. The shows are probably going to sell out, we have adds running in the Metro Times, we have radio adds on 97.1 (one of the DJ's is in the movie), and we possibly may have Fox 2 involved since they ran the story on us back in October.
