I know...and I can't promise things will be getting any better for her in the next chapter, either. I didn't include Myka in a vest, either. :(

I'm glad you liked Mamma Bering because I wasn't sure if I was writing her right. I haven't seen Nevermore in forever.

Momma Bering sounded like she does in my head. I've never thought Myka's mom was anything like her dad. I've always felt that in a lot of ways, Myka's mom was very open and loving towards Myka which is the exact opposite of her dad. But then I see a lot of my relationship with my parents in Myka & her parents. My dad was emotionally distant when I was growing up. He's gotten better and I understand more now that I'm an adult. It was hard growing up though.

I'll forgive you not putting Myka in a vest. ;)

I ♥ Nevermore but then I ♥ most eps that have a LOT of Myka. LOL

I'm sorry. :( If it makes you feel any better I'm not sure how much of Myka's dad'll be in the story. Can't see how that'll make you feel better but I can't think of anything else.

My favorite Myka eps are: Burnout (it's a Myka episode in the disguise of a Pete episode ;) ), Mild Mannered (she is badass as a superhero), Age Before Beauty (too many reasons to put here) and For the Team (obviously).

Awwww Myka........i wanna give her a hug. Really beautiful and touching chapter. Amazingly written, i could feel every word. Great stuff, i adore your style and this fic.
