Hmm. Sounds like an interesting plot. It's pretty common. (They did the Pro Wrestler bit in "Psych" last season) but still. Can't wait to see how WH13 does it!

I'm just not fond of "Pro Wrastling" (sorry I don't view "tv wrestling" as real wrestling) guys/gals being on TV shows because honestly, most of them couldn't act their way out of wet toilet paper with 2 sharp knives and directions. They can pretend to beat people up well, but that's not really acting, imho.

I'll wait and see too since my wish sorta came true. With Pete having 2 love interests and Claudia getting 1 this season I was "Where's the love for Myka & Artie?" Now we got Myka's...where's Artie's?

Argh! SyFy needs to stop putting wrestlers on their shows. It's just them advertising the fact they carry WWE. :P

I'm with you but at least Myka's getting some love right? Now they just need to get Artie some love. Then I'll be really happy. :D

I don't like or watch "wrastling" on SyFy (or anywhere else for that matter) but if having it on SyFy means they get shitloads of money to make more #WH13 from that money, I say keep it on SyFy. I don't have to watch the "wrastling". :D

This will probably be a one-time thing and I have a feeling, for comedic effect. I mean, think about it, Myka getting hit by like, Cupid's arrow, literally, and going all gaga over her high school flame? Who's probably like, a used car salesman now? Even the premise makes me giggle. Pete will probably tease her forever. Awesome! :D

But the snippet said IN SPITE of complications from effects of an artifact, Myka is still drawn to the guy. So I'm not sure it's going to be all comedic effect. It makes me think that even if she isn't affected by the artifact she still has feelings for the guy.

Oh yeah Pete will tease her about this. I just hope they have Myka teasing him about the 2 love interests he's getting. Seems only fair she gets to tease him.

*rereads* Ohhh okay, uh, close reading fail.

That's pretty vague, it could mean any number of things. Does the artifact affect him or her? Or the reunion itself? And even if Myka is legitimately drawn to the guy romantically, it could still be comedic, because I dunno if it's just me, but high school reunions scream comedy to me? Lol. I don't know, I just really hope that they take advantage of opportunities to have fun and do light-hearted episodes every once in awhile, because both the actors and the writers do comedy just as well as the more serious stuff. So I kind of want some wackiness this season. :)

I don't mind wackiness I would just like to see Joanne get someone who is an actual actor and not some "wrastling" guy to work with for the love interest for Myka.

I'm hoping that this Cody dude will surprise me, but I'm not holding my breath because it's rare for a Pro Wrestler to be any good at acting.

I agree the actors do comedy well. But I also like when they're more serious too. Shows the actor's ranges better when we get to see both comedy and drama, imho. :D

I'm not 100% it will be a clunker but I don't have high hopes for the guest star's ability to actually act. I just wished they'd gotten someone OTHER than a Pro Wrastler to be a possible love interest for Myka. I mean really, Joanne deserves an actor, not a wrastler to work with. *rolleyes*
