There are now so many giant spiders living above my laundry room door that they have surpassed even my fear of a homeless person having snuck into the unlocked laundry room and died in someone's storage unit. So basically, doing laundry at 7am is unpleasant anyways, but now there's a new level of terror involved, and I can already tell this isn't going to be a good day.
Got called into work on Saturday for a SIXTH NINE-HOUR DAY, which left me with a one day weekend largely eaten up by Chicago's shit public transportation system. It took the better part of 5 hours to go downtown and see a movie, and all I really wanted to do was update my blog and watch frickin Sherlock. I have still only seen the first episode! It's a crime! I harassed a friend into watching it and she has now finished before me.
And then last night I continued the current trend of dreaming about lice constantly. This amused me at first, but has since lost its charm. Last night it was: girl needed a three hour comb-out, and I had to stay in the haunted mansion the salon was in for some reason and comb her hair overnight. This resulted in my not doing the comb-out due to being scared out of my mind, having a meltdown, and driving my mom's van into the back wall of her garage hard enough to smash the windshield.
I'm going to interpret that as "I don't want to go to work today!!!!!"
sherlock,
i want to stay home!!,
