Aaaaaand, rest...
Last Sunday saw me go onto 12hr, 4-on, 4-off shifts, a pattern I have been desperate to get back onto since I was made redundant by Stobart's last year. I've also successfully completed the 3-month temp-to-perm period and have received my contract from Great Bear, as well as the wage increase that comes with it.
Yesterday was also my last shift for 3 weeks as I had pre-booked holidays before I started with the company. Before I finished work yesterday, the boss took me aside and said that I was doing a great job, progressing well, fitting in well with the team and have gained their respect.
As someone with self-confidence issues, hearing stuff like that really gives me a boost!
In other news, Ruthie is arriving for a visit next week and it's just over a week until the RIAT - woo-hoo!
