Hey all
I got nothin', no excuses for not updating, I have waaay too much time on my hands, if it weren't for Jon Stewart and the Daily Show my day would be a complete loss. Its funny how unmotivated you can get when you have days at your disposal. Havnt had the best time finding any cash work, and last I heard from immigration I wont be hearing whether they have actually recieved my application till May. And the earliest I might be legally allowed to work is the end of June! Its great to see how fast the wheels of beuracracy (sp?) turn.
On a brighter note Karine and I may be moving to Vancouver next winter, she has applied to do her masters at the University of British Columbia, and has had some really good feedback. So it might be back to the big smoke for me. So hopefully we can make the most of what is left of a very average winter (tho we did have 20cms last night and more on the way this weekend!) and a summer in sunny Nelson. Mind you its not the worst that could happen, fly fishing is just getting good and kayaking could be on the agenda pretty soon too.
Oh and as for getting to Big White to visit the three musketeers, soon I say, heh as much as I complain about having too much time on my hands it also means I dont have much cash in those hands either. But Work has picked up lately and easter weekend could even be a possibility. Atleast I dont need to budget for a lift ticket anymore, har har!
So what else has been consuming my time, well actually was playing a neat little text RPG game for a while called ADOM (Ancient Dungeons of Mystery). Its super hard and they guy who made it put alot of time and thought into it. Heh in his words "You'll be suprised how scared you will get of the letter 'D'". Its kinda like a mud but with a text map display thing if that makes sense, anyhoo Axi the grey elven wizard was a bit of fun getting to lvl 38. Games are pretty limited when you are on a P2 laptop with a dial-up connection (any suggestions?), got an xbox when I was in sudbury which has been kinda fun too, they do alot with what is in that box and they have some nice RPGs too.
Will try and update a bit more, and will try and get out and about and take some fotos. First fish of the year would be a good one for sure, hah, might see if we get a powder day out of this weekend and take some snaps there too, weather is looking appropriately terrible to allow some pow.
