My first customer review on Amazon US. Three stars and a concluding paragraph which says: "The downside of "The Big Necessity" is that its anecdotal nature makes it difficult for readers to sometimes place facts into perspective, and some of the facts seem misstated."

What, please, is a misstated fact? Is it the same as a wrong fact/lie/error/untruth? I honestly don't know.

And the LA Times called it entertaining but dismal. But as the reviewer is the author of a book about LA's sewer system, I will charitably conclude that she's jealous she didn't get out more. Still, quelle salope.
