You meet the weirdest people on a holiday
So today is the first day of Winter Veil. For a Warcraft Sue reader, this means it's like a gift extravaganza...
...That is, if every gift were made of fail.
Pitch-black eyes. This can only turn out well.
Now, I apologize in advance for the next; I missed a small bit in the middle of his Physical Description page--although it's probable that we didn't miss much.
My first thought, brought on by the OOC note at the beginning, was that it's probably not just the character. Read on:
In summary, he suddenly became a warlock one day to defend his parents from bandits. Of course, they apparently weren't nearly as tolerant as they should have been--you know, because summoning agents of the Burning Legion is normal and natural or whatever the hell he's trying to say. Anyway, they kicked him out of the house at the tender age of 18 for no good reason, and he's had to scrape and claw and fight his way ever since. (I guess his difficulty arose because they refused to pay for Wizard College and he had to take a job as a horse-station attendant.)
Also, he likes to get attention by consciously doing precisely what other Sues do in ignorance: provoking the guards by being Obviously Evil. But he's really just a nice guy, folks! Really, you need to get over your bigotry, lore-abiding roleplayer.
There are only a couple of tidbits more, but think of them like crap-flavored icing on a cake made of crap:
Well, isn't he just the coolest dude around for sneering at the amusements of the innocent. Way to show that you're just like everyone else, only more misunderstood.
Which is really challenging, given that he put that information in his Physical Description page.
But despite this nugget of nonsense, I have already gotten enjoyment out of the Winter Veil event, and I'm looking forward to more. Just remember: Even if you get a gaudy sweater for a holiday gift, you can turn around and make it into something fun and cheerful!
