I can deal with the supersoldier there. I can. No, not everyone has to be a peon or a footman. It's a little bit too "look-at-me" for my taste, but in itself, it's not a crime. You can even go ahead and be a child prodigy with an emo backstory. But at least make your AGE realistic! I don't care how awesome you are, no one's going to give a child (for all intents and purposes) that kind of rank. And if you're really that young, it's kind of--nay, incredibly unbelievable that a sixteen year old can accomplish the kind of stuff he's talking about. It took the strength of, what, six human kingdoms? And reinforcements from the dwarves and high elves to drive back the orcs in the Second War? Throw in the Forsaken, trolls, tauren etc. and a sixteen year old should understandably be shitting his pants fighting them. Age him up by at LEAST ten years and I won't have as much of a problem with the character ( ... )

Exactly. My point exactly. I don't give a rat's ass if you want to be a high-ranking military officer or claim a bunch of IC victories against the Horde under your belt just because you PvP a lot, but for crying out loud. There is no need to be sixteen years old while doing it. That's just a bit overmuch.

He only needs eight years! Arthas was 24, after all.

...oh wait and then he failed life forever.

Also is it bad that I'm looking at this and going "200 pounds and 5'10" at sixteen? NOPE. YOU CAN'T PUT ON MUSCLE MASS LIKE THAT."

Arthas was also Prince of the largest human kingdom in the world. You can't tell me he didn't have certain advantages in the Order. :P

Well yes.

My point was more Arthas's persistent and lasting failure at everything heroic ever.

Actually... yes. When I was sixteen (three years ago), I was around that height and 5'10" weighing in at 185 Lbs - I was and still am a bit in shape. Smaller you are - you can build more muscle mass oddly enough. Besides, I knew a guy in high school who was younger than I was, who stood at 6'4" weighing 215 or 230 Pounds. :/ It's quite possible, just not common.

I stand respectfully corrected!

:|a Although I will wager that is a product of superior nutrition and rest/exercise opportunities that are a result of technological advances not available in the Warcraft universe.

Depends on social class I suppose. Richer you are - you can eat more. Or if you've got a large plot of land in which you grow food or own your own animals. :/

Very true. And in that case, being on the heavier side of things is actually a sign of affluence. :u

Which is why my worgen druid from a noble family is a fat kid.

Well, that and he's got asthma and doesn't like the typical pursuits of a nobleman (hunting and the whole lot), so it impairs his level of physical activity. Why can't he read books and hang out with his adorable pet animals. :c
