Well...according to the WoW RPG, the adulthood of humans/worgens is 15. So as we all think it's jailbait, 16 is actually an age where she would be considered an adult and can probably drink at any of the taverns and go adventuring. So....technically that's the only part of her mrp that isn't out of place in WoW lore.
Trouble is that it wasn't about her going to taverns or adventuring. It was about any sixteen-year-old considering herself a high-enough ranking member of the Burning Legion to have earned a prestige class, and the fact that even if it's technically okay in the WoW world... to the person playing behind the other screen, a teenybopper flashing the world her panties is just a little creepy.
Well, like i said, the only part of her mrp that makes even a little bit of sense in WoW lore is her age. I agree that there is no way in hell she could have accomplished what she claims but unfortunately, in WoW, her wandering around in her panties is just as acceptable as all the mid-twenty year old women who do it.
Legally, 16 is the age of majority in a number of countries.
That doesn't mean a lot of people raised where 18 is the age of majority (and 21 is the age where you're really considered an "adult") won't still find it kinda weird. D:
Plus, while the RPG does give us a younger age of physical adulthood, in-game we're shown a society that generally tallies with modern first-world American middle class society in terms of age ranges, as bizarre as that is for the relative time period Warcraft is supposed to be. Long latency periods shouldn't be expected but they're nevertheless present, and most NPCs are actually in their mid-twenties/early thirties.
sorry kind of tealdeered there. D: But yeah; you and the RPG both make a legit point; the game and the comfort zones of most players are different, however.
