Dragons are Rad
First time poster, long time lurker. I usually hang out around on Earthen Ring and their fancy RP Network. I recently stumbled onto this...

It's a black dragon named Obsidios who's so old (or dumb), he can't count that high. Not just any black dragon mind you, but "Obsidios is a massive Black Wyrm, towering over most Dragons, but still small compared to Aspects." Well at least he's smaller than those puny Aspects I guess it's cool.
The next part is pretty lulzy too...
Obsidios has existed for ages, and remains today as an ancient Black Wyrm. Nearly 100 years before the War of the Ancients, with Neltharion's permission, he split off from the Black Dragonflight with his own sect, looking to study some of the mortal races instead of simply cutting them off from eachother. Neltharion cut him off from the cries of the earth, and alerted him when the Dragon Soul's construction was completed.
This part I don't even get. Clearly before the War of the Ancients, the Black Dragonflight had nothing better to play strict schoolmarm to the various mortal races. None of that newfangled socializing you dang whippersnappers, for Neltharion wills it! Not sure why he was "cut off from the cries of the earth" or why Neltharion was all like "Yo dawg, I'm checking out this Dragon Soul thing, you should check it out".
He and his sect flew to Deathwing and the combined Dragon forces, and attempted to rebel when the Dragon Soul was turned on the Mortal races and the Blue Dragonflight. In punishment, Deathwing killed his mate and friends, and stripped Obsidios of his magic and breaking his wings. He was marked as an exile of the Black Dragonflight, and cast out.
So apparently he and his buddies are too cool to go insane like the rest of his kin. What a bad ass! Ladies and gentlemen, we have a "Good" Black Dragon. A "Good" Black Dragon with emofuel.
After a brief, off the records, heated discussion with a Red Dragon, he retreated to a pocket dimension, and had a Blue Dragon contact put him into a magically induced sleep.
He slept for nearly Ten Thousand Years...
So he's stripped of his magic but through his sheer power of awesome, he's able to pull a pocket dimension out of his ass after arguing with a Red Dragon to take a nap, courtesy of a Blue Dragon. Apparently everyone wanted to be friendly with the same Flight that just tried to kill everyone.
The rest is just out of control. Apparently dragons have nothing better to do than join criminal organizations run by Draenei with the very Draenic last name of Striker and get controlled by cheesily named things that make them commit unspeakable acts.
I think the worst part is that people RPing Dragons is a rising trend on Earthen Ring so there's probably only more fun stuff to be seen.
