Robot: NO.

Miss "Megadyke": I realize you were probably very irritated with someone (or multiple someones) when you wrote this flag. Here's a tip: DON'T DO THAT. It makes you come off as a completely unapproachable drama queen and carries hints of being one of those "if you play an icky boy or are one IRL, DON'T RP WIF ME!" players. (I do recall we actually had at least one of those posted.)

Step away from the computer, read a book or take a walk, then come back and write your description, because wow.

17-year-old Night Elf: This is why I describe my characters in general terms. Just say "young/not quite yet an adult/whatever". You'll save yourself headaches.

DK the first: All I can think of this is: "what if I'm playing a death knight when I'm reading this?" Because I think they'd know what to do.

DK the second: I'll echo everyone else here and say that prose is really well done! It could even make for a bit of a vague history (I don't want to read your character's life story anyway). But no, you cannot take an IC action as OOC permission to kill a character. The only time this would be REMOTELY acceptable is if they metagamed/godmoded the crap out of your friend, and at that point it was up to your buddy to call bullshit, take his toys, and go home. You don't need to be involved in that at all. If your character wants IC vengeance, that's great, but you still need to be a decent human being OOCly about it.

I remember that one. It bothered me about as much then as it does in this flag. Like... I get the need to assert that you are a womyn and we should hear you roar and you're mad at those special snowflake giggling twits, but come on. Take the attitude out of the flag and make it about what your character is, not what she isn't.

I've come to do the same with my anything-but-humans. WoW has weird timelines when it comes to what constitutes an adult, a young adult, venerable, etc. Tauren, in particular, have a strange lifespan. So I just say "young adult" or "venerable" or something like that and let other people figure it out.

And yeah, that's about how I felt about DK #2 as well. His character does come across as having an interesting sort of attitude and approach, but then I read that OOC note and facepalmed. I'm sorry, my IC actions are not OOC permission for you to do anything.
