She's fragile too!

So, is posting extremely long histories filled with angry rants the new thing? Because this is the second one in as many days.

...Why does she put Blood Knights in quotes? It's a real (for a given value of real) organization. o_O

Though I think she may need to do a little more research on the order itself. I don't think it's what she thinks it is. Though I gave up reading about halfway through that diatribe she calls a history. I couldn't figure out what she did that was so terrible that she needs to be redeemed (ahahaha, redemption. To the Blood Knights. Ahaha.). Did she sleep with her commander? How is that bad? What? What did you do!?

(ahahaha, redemption. To the Blood Knights. Ahaha.)

...Am I doing something wrong, then?

I have a Blood Knight who feels pretty awful about all the less than wonderful things he did during his training under the mistaken belief that it was ~necessary~. (Thanks, Alien Lampshade Gods, you've ruined a perfectly selfish elf.) He wants to make amends and would probably fit better in the Argent Crusade in the future. Anyway, this makes him kind of an annoyance (possibly an embarrassment) and pretty unpopular with the other bloofadins, so his superiors tend to send him off to the ass end of the world to clean up poop whenever they can. Because who doesn't enjoy poop quests?

I don't think it's so much because of a single character seeking redemption for their actions, but more the fact that she's trying to redeem herself -to- the blood knights.

They aren't exactly a shining paragon of virtue.

Gak, that should have been a reply to the above comment. Not yours. I fail this early in the morning.

But yeah, you're right.

Oh. Right. -grins-

But they're paladins, they must be virtuous!

If that fails, chalk it up to a religious excuse. Worked for real world paladins, didn't it?*

"But I'm the Light's champion, I can redeem myself and become super popular and perfect! The Blood Knights are totally virtuous because I said so, and if you don't like it then you need your head examined, just don't come near me. CYBER BULLYING IS HARASSMENT."

(Re-posting this to where it should be... cause I fail)

Oh no no, that's actually how I play my paladin too. The whole thing is... How to explain. Oh. Bugger. The entire order was founded on the imprisonment and torture of a being made of pure light. They didn't know it was a willing sacrifice at the time. They didn't care either way. They just wanted the power the naaru had. So they took it by force. So really, the entire order is on the redemption path. ALL of the original BKs were sort of bastards, reasoning and rational aside. We're all in this together sort of thing. As far as I'm concerned, it's not something that's ~magically fixed~ with the restoration of the Sunwell.

Which makes it funny to me, that whatever she did (I still don't understand) is somehow worse.
