Moon Guard: Brain Bleach Saga
I bring you more. Not that it really helps.
Now, I'm not entirely clear on my human lore. I make it a point to not play a human, because I am a human in real life, and when I want to play a fantasy game, I'm going to be the gigantic moo-cow of death over the thing I am 24/7 anyway.
But even without knowing the lore of the race beyond what I need to play my worgen... I feel like there's something I'm missing here. I can follow the birthplace. I can follow the being sent to Stormwind thing (without thinking on it too hard), and at fifteen she joined the Scarlet Cru - ...
... - okay, I can believe even that. Except, a few moments of research tells me that the Scarlet Crusade came to be after the murder of Uther at the hands of Arthas, who didn't do -that- until after Stratholme and the plague there... but if she was fifteen when this happened, she couldn't have been born twenty-one years before the plague. She... I... no.
Maybe we'll do better somewhere else.
The first thing that struck me about this one was the race. I had the entire -house- trying to get the math behind this one, and we determined that it would take a considerable number of generations to make a true 1/3 anything. Too much to even -be- Quel'dorei. Impressive, hm? We passed it off to bad math (perhaps they meant 1/4th?), and continued.
You know what I want to see? I want to see a Brienne. I want to see someone who might be female, but doesn't showcase her curves despite being supposedly made of -stone-. Why yes, I've begun reading Game of Thrones, why do you ask?
Alright, so she's fairly ordinary in that there's countless other people who are tempered by battle but still seem to keep their femininity... she dyes her hair because apparently she's also wrinkled as all get-out, or she deals with people who are blind, because silver is such an -old- color...
Odd golden color for her eyes with bits of blue. I'm almost seeing hazel. -Almost-. She's a walking traffic hazard with all that shiny armor, good thing mostly everyone is riding a dragon, which is bad for her I guess, should a dragon want a yummy snack in a tin can...
And she's waiting for her knight. Well, not all that impressive.
