(no subject)
Seems that the Cataclysm did more than just change the face of Azeroth ... it made some people completely different! Here's a brotip from me to you, though ... if you're gonna use a major event to retcon your character (or even just retcon your character in general), make sure it's not somehow worse than the original.
First up is Nacaria, who, a scant year ago had a flag that looked like it was typed with her toes while she was blindfolded. (See "new and brighter futcher".) Now it's expanded ... in interesting ways. Timeline's fudgy, her grasp of basic English has only slightly improved ... but hey, at least she's not got a flag that's an open-ended letter to Valorkhan, who as many Senticles know, is always good for an eye-roll. (I think this also implies that Valor was married to her for two years WHILE he was married to Linastra, the half-demon-half-dragon-super-hunter thing.)
(Once again, it's my UI font that lacks capital letters, so this thing could have perfect capitalization and you'd never know it.)
The last line makes me want to make a character (as conceptualized by someone here the last time one of these types of characters was posted) that is indeed a raging lunatic of a bitch, but becomes completely apathetic and totally milquetoast when it comes to the defense of her friends.
This one, though, goes from naught to WAT (/plays obligatory "wat" soundbyte from sulfuron_jammer) in about 4 seconds.
The thing is ... as early as the RP summit scant months ago when Cataclysm dropped, SHE WAS A GODDAMN BANSHEE. And why ... how does staying in Hyjal turn you into a troll? If we're to believe the lore alluded to by Blizzard and those at the Really Really Really Old Trolls Home, night elves were trolls that were exposed to the magic from the Well of Eternity. By that logic wouldn't you be turning into a night elf?! My reaction on reading (and summarily thinking about it) can only be expressed by the wonderment that is Nathan Fillion.
I think I need coffee and to find an unattended basket of chocolate to rob. /cast Stealth
