Oh noes! Lore-Raep!
Today we have no RSP, no bio, no nothing. Instead, we have a conversation played out in that cesspit of humanity, the /trade channel.
So why am I reporting it? Because it features the return of an old "favorite" of ours, back with some new love and more reasons for me to hate all humanity.
So there I stuffing some things into the grossly-overpriced Horde Auction House when I see a Guild Advertisement Spam in the trade channel. Now normally I ignore these sorts of things, except for the fact that this one has three interesting features.
1) It was done in the good ol' "OOC Brackets" which, when used to spam trade, usually indicates someone who is just too anal for words.
2) It was advertising a guild called "Sons of the Silver Hand". More to the point, it was advertised as being "Heavy RP and *not* Lore-Raping" (and yes, those were the words used. Sounds like someone's being a tad defensive). Straight up, I'll say now that a Hordeside Silver Hand-themed guild would be more then a touch dodgey.
3) And most importantly, the person spamming it was none other then a many-time repeat offender, our friend the anti- godmodding
godmodder (and CASSA-FORKING-NOVA, lest we forget)
Oh dear.
Almost immediately some bright spark (not me, sadly, but I applaud them for their swift and decisive action) chimes up and asks "how can a Blood Elf Silver Hand-themed guild *not* be Lore-Raping?"
His reply? Still over trade, he states ((If you whisper me, I'll explain it)). Hmm... so not willing to publicly defend yourself then? Makes me wonder why.
Our mysterious sporker - who I wonder if they're a member of this Comm (and if they are, please do speak up) goes on to say - still in /trade, by the way - "Oh hang on, aren't you that guy who was the anti-government protester pirate high inquisitor?"
At which point, I turn around to see none other then CASSA-FORKING-NOVA standing right behind me in the Auction House. And I get to see, first-hand, his defense of their accusation.
He logged out.
