You know, I don't go around nitpicking everything, but if you start out defensively offensive...
Well, suffice it to say that this makes my dissection scalpel itch.
Let's start with the final OOC note here, so you understand where I'm coming from:
People who have some short [sic] of stick-up-your-rear problem with my character having a Man'ari [sic] parent can kindly run along and go eat your boiled goose like a good stuffy old snoot.
I'm actually a relatively flexible murloc when it comes to character concepts. I've seen all kinds of peculiar things done well, just like I've seen all kinds of ordinary things done poorly. The key to making things work? Having a good attitude, part of which manifests as being polite. You whip out an attitude of heaping invective upon people who disagree with you?
It's open season, baby.
But you know what? I'm going to be a BAD stuffy old snoot and ignore your speshul look-at-moi insistence on having parents who took different sides during the eredar schism. I'm going to take on everything else.
For one, she's 18. Okay, a lot of things happen to you very quickly in this game, but how long have you been playing this character? Oh look; you've got achievements going all the way back to 2008--back when achievements started being awarded. So your character started her career when she was 16? She's one tough baby, isn't she?
Six feet tall; she's one short draenei, considering that draenei women are taller than human men--who are on average six feet tall. But that probably just makes her predatorily-graceful beauty all that much more striking.
Also, thank you for alerting me IN YOUR PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION that she is an evil and manipulative brat. Nothing is more satisfying than roleplaying with someone I know is going to make clumsy and terribly ineffective attempts to bamboozle me--mostly because it's fun to thwart you--but watching you thwart YOURSELF by stamping it on your forehead is even more fun.
"Spontaneous shapeshifter"? What is that I don't even.
Finally, "this young woman's personality is liquid, ever changing to suit a mercurial mood" says nothing so much as "I can't be bothered with consistent characterization". Really, if you can't roleplay worth a tinker's dam, stop insulting both con artists and the mentally ill by playing either or both.
