1. "Drakthuran Shadowbane has close to no memories of his previous life" Why is this such a common theme? Did your DK die from blunt force trauma to the head and have brain damage? Come on, wasn't part of the whole "DK's who broke free and are super mad at Arthas now" thing that they remembered themselves and what he'd done to them? If you don't remember your past then what's to stop you from just siding with him again once you've been 'freed'. Ugh.

2. Tolerated it up until Scarlet Crusade. I was going to skim the rest of it but what the butt it's long.

3. I'm sure a 10 year old would be able to secretly train itself to steal and kill people without getting caught. Right.

4. Just. Wat.

5. Experiment baby dropped out of a plane, found and raised by a troll who gives her ~SPECIAL POWERS~? No thanks.

6. I don't.....really know what to say about this one either. So....wat.

I'm glad I found this comm, it makes me feel so much better about some of the sue-ish things I have for my characters. Ugh. lol

I agree with you on the first one (and all the others, but the first one stands out the most). Next to Omgsuperspeshuleyepatches, the amnesia is the most annoying.

All three of my DK's remember pretty vividly what was done to them to make them dead in the first place. All three of them take varying degrees of 'pissed off' in regards to it. All three of them want Arthas' head on a platter (one of them is close to getting that).

Every single time I come across one of these idiots who "magically can't remember what happened", yet remember shit from prior events in their life, it makes me want to /facedesk so hard I get a J stuck in my forehead.

Yeah man, my nelf DK would be more than happy to cleave Arthas in half. My belf one too, but he's uh, a lot less likely to do it. He's gotten back too much of his lax nature, and meeting back up with his lazy ass friend only gave him a +20 to laziness so....he'll help out but he's not doing anything too difficult. lol

If I play an amnesiac undead (like my rogue) it's because the events of their death were exceptionally traumatic, and no, they're not going to magically remember how they died and they're going to hate not knowing even after doing everything they can think of to jog their memory.

People who 'forget' because they don't want to bother coming up with how their special snowflake finally couldn't Sue their way out of a no-win situation irritate people like me who use it as a part of their character's motives for adventuring rather than as wangst material.
