Jumping on the bandwagon

As a prelude to today's crap, I present what is hopefully the last chapter in the WallOfCuteFase saga. As you can see, she is now dead andf is a ghost and stuff. And rather then bludgeoning us with a walkl of text (hooray!) she's instead referring us to a thread on the forums. Say... what? That's not useful RSP info, lady. And no, I will not go check it as a) I don't feel like wading through the OOC Dramafest that the forums have become and b) I'd likely choke on the purple prose.

So what's the bet that she doesdn't say dead and instead comes back, sparklier then beofre?

Instead, for our main feature, I have the Half-Vrykul that was spotted last week. When I first heard about it, I thought it would be bad. When i found it, wel... it was worse then I could have hoped.

When I first skimmed their RSP, I asked myself 'How long has there been an apostrophe in the middle of 'Vrykul'?" The answeer, of course, is "as long as the player decided that it would be kewler and, as such, make their freaky hybrid even kewler still." Nachurally.

But then, I have to give Sue here a round of applause. As near as I've been able to figure, the first appearance of the Vrykul weill be in Wrath of the Lich King. They haven't appeared in any source beofre that, unless they got some stub info in a RPG book or the like. Which means that they've gone ahead and based thair chracter off a race that hasn't appeared on-screen yet and that we know, oh, sweet bog-all about. Nice going there, Sue. Not jumping on a bandwagon or trying to be a trendsetter or trying to garner attention at all are we? (and yes, I'm expecting swarms of half-Vrykul, half-Whatewver the hell Sues)

However, that's nopt the limit of the bad of this one. Becuse, as we've come to expect, it contains no actual description whatsoever. That's right kiddies; almost all of all of it is a paint-by-numbers backstory. Her father was killed by evil bad men and she flead back to Azeroth where she's pledged to fight the Lich king and get revenge for her father, etcetera etcetera. Yeah, orignal stuff too. And no, saying that your chracter is being followed by a rabbit or a Prarie Chicken is not description. We can see that, lady.

Oh, and I find it amusing that she's a Paladin and yet "proud of her heritage". Because, yanno, a Paladin would be proud to be related to a race of murdering barbaric raiders who practice necromancy and want to get in good with the Scourge. Defintely.

Bad RSP? Defintely. Likely to be the first in a trend? Sadly, probably the case.

Edited: Lynx work now; I are teh suck
