The Great One
Shakey the great has passed. He was such a good and loyal dog. The first time i met him ten years ago was also the first time i met Shellie. Jerrod was introducing me to her and after we ate dinner we went back to her place. I am not good at meeting new people, so there was some harmless tension in the room so to speak.
As we were sitting around talking, Shakey had entered and had proceeded to sniff me making sure i wasnt evil. I bent down to pet and scratch his ears at which point he leaned over and threw up on my shoes. At first i was stunned, but then laughed along with Shellie and Jerrod. It was almost as if he knew that something had to break so we could all get a little more comfortable. Ya know, it worked, after that things flowed better.
He was a smart and wonderful dog. Loyal to anyone he called friend, protectors to those he loved dear. He will be missed by everyone.
