Bowser's been such a little cuddle-monster today. He woke us up early again because he wanted to play but he must have gotten it out of his system because the next thing I know, it's past 11am and he's sleeping soundly inbetween us. Right before Will went to work I wasn't feeling well so I laid in bed for a while and he slept next to me. <3 Sometimes he'll just talk and talk and talk to me, and when I pick him up he purrs immediately and stops meowing *laugh* He has also discovered how much fun a full, clean laundry basket is to play in, and the joy of a fresh-out-of-the-dryer blanket =3 I also bought him a laser pen yesterday and now he has embarked on the neverending quest of the red light. I almost feel mean =/
His vet visit went well though; now I just need to get his ear mites taken care of. Frenchie had this problem too so I'm used to treating it, but that doesn't change how upset Bowser gets when I have to hold him still to put in his ear drops. I thought he would hate me afterwards but he's gotten over it very quickly. Hell, tonight he was back on the bed with me within a few minutes of application. He's such a sweetie-pie. I even don't mind waking up now because I have him as my alarm clock. A cute, furry kitten with a happy face is much nicer to wake up to than an iPod.
You-know-who decided to make a surprise visit here this weekend. We didn't even know until he asked Will if he wanted to go grab coffee on Saturday morning. Will and I haven't had a proper weekend together in many weeks, so I was pretty upset at the thought of his best friend getting him all weekend like he had the last time he was in town. But Will only went out to lunch with him and came home to hang out with me the rest of the day. You know, I'd be more sympathetic to them hanging out if he wasn't making it a habit to come back to town once a month (>_>)
I've been playing so many video games lately. Will bought Fallout 3 and RE6 just before our birthdays, and I got him Dishonored for his birthday. To top it off, his brother bought us Saints Row 3 and Borderlands 2 for our birthdays and I just today opened up SR3. It's pretty cool - but I also started playing Skyrim a couple of weeks ago so it's hard to find time for all of these games. RE6 and Dishonored are still in their shrink wraps. (@_@)
With any luck, we'll both be headed down to STL for Fright Fest at Six Flags. I just hope his work will give him the weekend off. He had it requested off and yet he was scheduled, and suddenly his request was missing. I hate his work, I don't think I can say it enough. He literally just got "employee of the quarter" and they still treat him like shit. I hope he uses that as leverage. They owe him for all of the shifts he takes on and extra work he does. >/
Tonight I washed my debit card in the laundry. (>_<) The magnetic strip looks like it's okay but we'll see what happens the next time I try to buy something.
