Gonna try to type this up as fast as I can before I have to go to work. I've been pushing my alarm back further and further lately even though I tend to work at 11am everyday! I work at 8am on Saturdays though, and normally I have my alarm at :00. Eventually that got pushed back to :15, and :20, and now it's at :30 and I don't even shower before I go to work anymore. There's no point. I come home smelling like bagels anyway.
It's been the same ol' same ol' for me and the boy. No deep discussions, really. We had a fiasco with the energy bill. That's still kind of unresolved but hey, power's not gonna get turned off! He's working longer shifts than I am now but he seems to be working about the same number, given the days he's had off. We'll confront our money issues and his school avoidance eventually. I know it'll be better when he gets paid. I can't lie though, it's been nice that he hasn't had money to buy cigarettes. He's gotten it down to 2-3 a day simply because he doesn't have any, and friends give him the few he does get. We've been fighting a lot less in those terms, and I wish he'd care enough to realize this correlation. Maybe he has, he's just not the type to really say anything.
I bought The Sims 3 on Sunday (was a sneaky girl and only paid about $7) and it's been goodbye productivity! I'm surprised it works so well on my laptop. That was the thing stopping me from buying it initially, but it runs surprisingly well with minimal lag, if any. It crashed once after I got robbed for the umpteenth time, but that wasn't a big deal. Unfortunately I've noticed it's glitchy as hell, and after I downloaded an update for the game I can't fish with bait anymore. (><) I've looked up fixes online but they haven't worked, so I guess I'll just fish with my lure for now. =/ Man, this game is reaaaaally consuming me though. XD I played all day Sunday after I got it, a little bit before work on Monday, all night after work on Monday, and then most of the day Tuesday, which I had off. Will built me a house yesterday :D It looks awesome.
I had a little freak-out moment this morning upon seeing it was snowing a bit. D: I don't think it's cold enough to stick, but I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed.
