what a nice day
Another lovely, lazy afternoon in the apartment in Iowa. I got here Sunday evening and have been catching up with friends one by one. Yesterday I stopped in at my old job to see friends, and today I stopped in again to see the new managers. Seems I'm going to get my job back :D It'll be nice to have an income again while I look for a better-paying job. Today I went out for lunch with Jazmyn at Mesa <3 I really missed her...and Mesa. XD Their specialty pizza is so amazing.
Being back at my mom's place in St. Louis was all right but it's a lot better being here. (-_-); The few redeeming things about home life are my kitties and cousins - my mom doesn't even have cable. Three plasma TVs, no cable. Just video games, and we don't even have many of those. I couldn't really sleep because there are no ceiling fans and my mom turns the A/C off at night, aaand the bed I was on killed my back.
Clearly I have nothing better to talk about (=_=)
Leaving for St. Louis again this Sunday, and then it's Walt Disney World on Tuesday. I'm supposed to stay at home the remaining week after that but knowing me, I'll be back here within a day or two...that isn't my "home" anymore, I guess. This is.
