I really shouldn't comment on these things until I'm fully awake yet, but...
I was skimming
this article yesterday, and was amused because I thought the writer must be a little confused by the story in The Second Life. S/he says that Mark is the pianist and Jake is the assassin. I allowed for the possibility that Hankyuu had tweaked the summary, since they do that sometimes, but I've checked more than once and
it's still the same.
But having now skimmed the more detailed summary in the program, provided by the wonderful
muffin_song, it appears the article is correct. They DID change the story a bit but DIDN'T CHANGE IT ON THE WEBSITE. The bastards. D:
Because since they DIDN'T change it, it's taken me until now to discover that THERE WILL BE A BRIEF LOVE TRIANGLE BETWEEN MICCHAN, CHIGI AND ERI-CHAN. Something to the effect of, "Chigi likes Eri-chan but Eri-chan likes Micchan and Micchan hates women". XDD Eri-chan is Don Vincent's daughter, by the way. <3 EDIT: Forget a "brief" love triangle; the body-switching just means that there will eventually be a love "diamond" (what was that word I used before for "love four-pointed object"? Love rhombus? X3). Chigi <3 Eri-chan <3 Micchan <3 Tacchin. Hehehe, this is going to be FUN.
So, yes, "Jake Iron" has now become the Mafia man. "Mark White", AKA KAI-CHAN, is the pianist formerly engaged to Tacchin. The summary no longer says anything about a playboy son of God, but that article says something about Mark being a playboy in heaven. I'm still confused on this point, since all I'm reading is stuff about Mark looking down at Lucia on earth and worrying about her and sneaking out of heaven, just like the other summary.
...They throw Micchan's body IN THE OCEAN when they kill her (Jake). THAT'S the body that Kai-chan finds?!? Gross!! ^^;;;;
The body-switching makes sense now, though. When "Mark" takes over "Jake"s body, Kai-chan will disappear somehow and it will just be Micchan with "Mark"s consciousness.
Forgot to mention: Kimitsun's character Luigi appears to be the boss of the rival syndicate to Don Vincent (Natori Rei)'s clan. Yay <333 Evil Kimitsun <33333 Juma's Paolo is also on Kimitsun's side (they seem to be called "the Marconi family").
...Maybe the other family should be "Vincento" and not "Vincent"? I'm no expert on Italian names; someone help me out here.
So that puts Micchan and Chigi (
fannore, I'm sure you were right about Chigi being Micchan's otoutobun <3) in the Vincent(o) syndicate.
There is a sentence or two near the end about God, and God noticing that a certain someone escaped heaven in order to give himself a second life, so at least we have confirmation that Natori-Rei-God will be in there somewhere. :D
And now that I've picked out all the juicy bits I can glean from a quick scan, time to start a closer translation of that summary. <333 Thanks again, Becca - I'll do my best! :D
