Sora Singin' in the Rain Post #2, plus Other-Troupe Stuff

Nov 05, 2007 17:36

Naturally I've been thinking about this all day. ;-P

The problem is the more I think about it, the more I become convinced that certain things have to happen.

So let's look at the facts. Here's what Tsukigumi's doing at the beginning of next year:

A-'r'ex 1/7 - 1/14
Tales of Hoffman 1/2 - 1/14; 1/19 - 1/29
Hollywood Lover 1/19 - 1/25

And Hanagumi...

Melancholic Gigolo 2/2 - 2/25
Aoi Kuchizuke 2/7 - 2/17; 3/1 - 3/11
Edit: forgot to add Mai-hime 3/14 - 3/20

And Hoshigumi...

Aka to Kuro 3/13 - 3/25; 3/31 - 4/7
Anna Karenina 4/5 - 4/15; 4/24 - 5/4

In other words, EVERY troupe is having a top-star-led show at a small theater at almost EXACTLY the same time as their part of the Bow series.

So. Soragumi HAS to be doing their Bow shows at the same time as Singin' in the Rain. I've almost throughly convinced myself.

I've also almost convinced myself that the otokoyaku leading the Bow series will be two of three people: Eriko, Chigi and/or Mii-chan. Meaning for now, I can write them off mentally as not being in SitR.

Along with... about 25 other babies.

EDIT: arlecchinic POINTED ME TOWARD THE 2008 SCHEDULE PDF WHICH PROVES ME COMPLETELY RIGHT. ^______^

Singin' in the Rain 7/5 - 7/21
yet-undisclosed Bow series 6/28 - 7/8; 7/17 - 7/27

HAH.

Still, on top of this discovery, there remains the possibility that they'll have THREE shows going on at relatively the same time, with Second Life being the third show... (Seeing as Tsukigumi and Hanagumi are basically doing just that.) @____@

Another edit: If they do reprise Second Life around the same time, that would write off Micchan obviously but also CHIGI in the Bow series, aka according to my formula Eriko and Mii-chan for the win. (Let's examine the leads in the Bow series: for Tsukigumi, an 85th and an 89th. For Hanagumi, an 85th and an 88th. Eriko and Mii-chan = an 85th and an 88th. OH GOD, I'm really failing at this "not getting my hopes up" thing; it's just that it all FITS!! >______<)

And yet I'm still so muddled on all of the SitR roles. At the same time also trying not to get my hopes up for Tomochin!Lina even though it's probably ONE OF THE MOST BRILLIANT IDEAS EVER.

*cough*

Hoshihara Misao will probably come back to reprise R.F. Simpson? Marietta-san as Roscoe? Machami as Zelda, or maybe Aoi-san instead? (They could bring Aki-san back too, I guess, but she was just in a Sora show and I love her, I mean SitR was the show that made me love her, but I want my musumeyaku to get a chance!) Ayumi-san as Nannette?

Oh OH, Dora Bailey. SHIBI-SAN PLEASE?! I KEEP SAYING THINKING TO MYSELF, SHIBI-SAN NEEDS TO VISIT SORAGUMI MORE OFTEN.

(Or, come to think of it, could be Rika Masumi since she's moving to Senka... dangit...)

Rod. For some reason I want everyone to be Rod (that is to say, I completely and totally can't decide who I want it to be).

Diction Coach. The role that made me like Yuuho Satoru. I'm thinking... Tamatama? She seems to fit the best in my mind.

What about Yukari's role, whose character name I don't remember? What about how Miran played the villain in the silent films (OMG THE SILENT FILMS) and also sang "Beautiful Girl" with Haya-chan?

What about all the snobby film stars, club dancers with Kathy, crazed fangirls, stage hands, policemen... OH, THE POSSIBILITIES OF BABY SQUEEFULNESS.

(Re: stage hands - there were three of them. Mii-chan x Chii-chan x Dai-chan batchmatey love for the win?)

Alice-chan definitely won't be in this, by the way, not just to save her poor little heart, but because she'll be doing a Bow lead with Eriko. Do not try to convince me otherwise. ^___^

And, throwing everything out the window, it occurred to me that if Tacchin was in SitR and they actually gave the part of Lina to a musumeyaku... Tacchin would make such a scary AWESOME Lina Lamont. XD

Btw, forgot to say YAY TOUKO PIMPERNEL and all that. I'm not disappointed that Tsukigumi didn't get it, solely because I never had my hopes up that they would get it. It seemed unlikely, with them doing Me and My Girl and all. Anyway, Touko rocks and her voice rocks and I'm sure she'll be fabulous. <3 As for Anna Karenina, still need to read the book / see Yukigumi's version... As for Yuu-chan's ohirome... um, okay?

*thoughtlessly crams other-troupe stuff all at the end* ^^;;;
